A seat that tilts.
A cockpit that moves.

The Next Level Racing Motion Platform V3 adds motion to a cockpit you already own, for $2,999. The PDK does a different job. Here is what each one moves, from each maker's own figures.

The real difference

A seat mover tilts you.
A platform moves everything.

The V3 sits inside the cockpit you already have and moves the seat on two axes, which is how it fits into the space you already use. The wheel and pedals stay where they are while the seat tilts. The PDK carries the whole cockpit on six legs, so the wheel moves with you and surge, sway, heave and yaw are there as well as pitch and roll: a braking zone arrives as a push forward, and a car stepping out at the rear arrives as rotation.

Side by side, in plain terms

The V3, as published

A seat mover that sits inside the cockpit you already have: pitch and roll, ±10° (20° total), 20°/s, users up to 130 kg. $2,999, with Next Level Racing's Platform Manager.

The PDK + ARK Ecosystem

$8,499.99: the platform, the aluminium racing chassis, extension feet and table, and our direct-drive wheelbase, wheel, load-cell pedals and button box, matched and tuned as one system. Six axes — surge, sway and yaw as well — at 3 g peak, any payload up to 250 kg. You add the seat, PC and screen.

What the other four axes carry

Surge under braking and throttle, sway as the rear steps out, yaw as the car rotates, heave over kerbs and crests. A seat mover tilts on pitch and roll, so those four are not in its kinematics.
