How it works

Step	What happens
When you order	You pay the Kit price only. Nothing for shipping yet.
When your Kit is ready	We email you a shipping quote for the delivery address on your order: freight, transit insurance for the full value of the Kit, crating and carrier handling. The quote states the estimated transit time.
Accepting the quote	You have 14 days to accept and pay it. We dispatch after payment and send you the tracking details.
If you do not accept it	Consumers may cancel the order and receive a full refund of the Kit price. Business buyers may instead collect the Kit, or send their own carrier, from our manufacturing partner in Shenzhen, China. If we have had no response 60 days after the quote, we treat the order as cancelled and refund the Kit price in full.

Estimated cost and transit time

Cost	About USD 500 for an unassembled Kit to the USA by sea freight. Every other destination is quoted individually and costs more — remote, island and inland addresses, and destinations without a regular sea-freight lane, most of all. The quote is always for your specific address.
Transit time	40 to 60 days by sea from dispatch, plus customs clearance. Air freight is available on request at a higher cost, quoted per address.
Where we ship	Three shipping regions. United States. EU/EEA — all 27 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Rest of world — every other country our payment processor supports. The United States is sold by ARK Dynamics Global; the EU/EEA and the rest of the world by ARKINEMATICS LIMITED (Terms Section 1.1). The exact list is shown in the address step at checkout; a country that is not on it is one we cannot ship to today. If you do not see yours, email devsupport@ark-dynamics.com. Online ordering is open for the United States. Orders to the EU/EEA and the rest of the world are not open yet.

These are estimates so that you can see the likely cost before you order. They are not a price: the shipping quote is.

Duties and taxes

Delivery to	Who pays duties and import taxes
USA	Import duties are included in the Kit price (DDP); ARK Dynamics Global is the importer of record. Sales tax, where we must collect it, is shown at checkout.
The EU/EEA — every member state, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein	Import VAT and customs duty are included in the Kit price (DDP); ARKINEMATICS LIMITED is the importer of record, and nothing further is payable to customs or the carrier on delivery.
Everywhere else outside the USA — including the UK, Switzerland, Canada and Australia	You are the importer of record and pay import duty, VAT/GST and customs clearance fees to the carrier or to customs on delivery (DAP). They are not included in the Kit price, and we cannot calculate them in advance — they depend on your country’s rates and on your own customs authority. The checkout page says so before you pay.

If import duties on your order rise sharply between your order and import, Terms Section 3.8 applies: we may offer you a new price, and you may pay the difference or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery

Item	Rule
How it arrives	Crated, on a pallet, delivered kerbside by a freight carrier. The driver does not carry it inside or unpack it. Approximate crated weight and dimensions are on the specification sheet — plan the route into your room before delivery day.
Being there	The carrier books a delivery slot with you. You, or an adult you nominate, must be present to sign. Two missed bookings may lead to storage or return charges from the carrier, which we pass on at cost.
Inspect on delivery	Check the crate for damage before signing, note any damage on the carrier's document, and email devsupport@ark-dynamics.com as soon as you can, with photos (Terms Section 4.5). Damage that occurred before risk passed to you (Terms Section 4.4) is put right at our cost. Late reporting does not remove a consumer's legal rights, but makes transit damage harder to show.
Changing your address	Email us before dispatch. If the new address is in a country served by our other seller, or changes the duty or tax basis, we re-quote and you may accept or cancel for a full refund.
Holding your Kit	If you cannot take delivery when your Kit is ready, we hold it for up to 60 days after the quote at no charge. After that, unless we agree storage terms with you in writing, the order is treated as cancelled and refunded.

Returns

Situation	Who pays return shipping
14-day return after delivery (consumers, Terms Section 5.2)	You. The return address is in the United States, so from outside the USA the cost is about the same as delivery — roughly USD 500 by sea freight, and more from remote, island or inland addresses. We give you the exact address when you notify us.
Faulty or wrong Kit, or a warranty claim	We do. We diagnose remotely and replace at part level where possible; if a whole Kit must go back, we arrange the collection.
Cancellation before dispatch	Nothing to ship — full refund of the Kit price.
