Built for the floor
that sells tickets.

Location-based entertainment is an economics problem before it is a motion problem: return per square metre, throughput per hour, and how many days a year the thing is actually running. Those are the numbers this page is about.

The platform seen from directly above, showing the compact square footprint an operator has to find room for.

The floor maths

Three numbers an operator asks first.

Commercial operation — a venue, an attraction, paid rides — needs a Commercial Operator Agreement under the Terms of Sale & Use, Section 8. That agreement is not on sale yet. Tell us what you are planning and we will write when it is.

Footprint

1.00 × 1.00 m for the PDK platform, 1.20 × 1.00 m for the PDK Racer — the chassis extends one face by 200 mm. It fits a booth or a bay, and it does not need a reinforced slab or a steel baseplate under it.

Power

Standard domestic mains, 100 to 290 V. No three-phase supply to install and no electrician on the critical path of an opening.

Duty cycle

Static weight sits on air rather than on the motors, so running all day is not a thermal question. That is an architecture property, not a cooling schedule.

Proof on walk-up guests

Most of the people who
rode it had never been
on a motion platform.

The reaction that matters for an attraction is not the enthusiast's — it is the person who joined the queue because the queue was there. At SimRacing Expo Dortmund and Sim Gaming Expo, Schaumburg, Chicago the platform ran back-to-back public floor days. That is the relevant duty cycle and the relevant audience, tested at the same time.

Where it fits

Three formats.

VR arcades and free-roam

Drop-in 4D motion, with multi-rig synchronisation over the open interface for shared scenes and group play.

4D screens and dark rides

A motion base for themed installations at single or multi-cabin scale — sized for a unit rather than a theatre.

Family entertainment centres

A compact, high-energy attraction for operators measuring return per square metre rather than spectacle per installation.

Active gaming

The same platform, where the physical effort is the point rather than a side effect.

The Ecosystem

What arrives, what it costs, and what you assemble.
