The six steps

What happens, and what you can do, at every step.

Cancel and refund

You may cancel any order at any time before we confirm dispatch, for any reason, by emailing devsupport@ark-dynamics.com with your order number.
Before your Production Notice, the refund is everything you paid. After it, unless you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, our unrecoverable cost for your Kit may be kept: parts and work already committed to it that cannot go to another order, listed for you, and capped at 15% of the Kit price.
Nothing is kept from a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK. Nothing is kept from anyone once the Ready Window has ended, if you cancel under Terms 3.2, 3.5, 3.8 or 4.2, or where the law where you live gives you a stronger right.
A consumer here is anyone buying for their own private use, wherever they live. A company, school or other organisation buying for its own use, or a person buying for their trade or profession, is a business buyer; Terms 1.3 says where its rules differ.
Before your Production Notice, we refund everything you paid to the original payment method within 14 days; after it, the rest, in the same way; a payment by bank transfer is refunded to the account it came from, and we pay our own bank's charge for sending it.
On a return after delivery, assembling or operating the kit beyond checking its contents may lead to a deduction (Terms 5.2).
If it is late

Your order confirmation states your Ready Window. Our standard is 3 to 6 months from order confirmation, an estimate, and delays of up to 12 months beyond it are possible.
If we learn that we cannot be ready within it, we will tell you at once with a revised estimate and remind you that you may cancel for a full refund.
For orders placed online: if the revised estimate is more than 30 days later than the original Ready Window, or we cannot give one, we will cancel the order and refund you unless you tell us you want to wait.
If we have not shipped within 12 months after the end of the Ready Window, we write to you and you choose: a full refund, or keep your order open.

The seller is set by where your Kit is delivered, and named on your order confirmation.

You pay in full at order. Paying by bank transfer costs a little less; the order sheet shows both totals. A few places we cannot ship to are listed at checkout.
Bank details are shown only on ark-dynamics.com, after you order, sign in, or use Find my order. We never send or change bank details by email.
US prices include import duty, with sales tax shown at checkout where we must collect it. EU prices include VAT and import duty, except in a few EU places outside the EU VAT area, such as the Canary Islands. Everywhere else, import VAT, duty and customs fees are paid on delivery.

What is a Production Notice?
The email that tells you the parts for your Kit are committed to a production batch. Until it, cancelling returns everything you paid. After it, unless you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, up to 15% of the Kit price may be kept, for parts and work already committed to your Kit.
How long until my PDK ships?
Ready to ship an estimated 3 to 6 months from order confirmation, then the transit time in your shipping quote. Delays of up to 12 months beyond that are possible, and the Terms of Sale say what you can do if that happens.
How do I get my refund?

Orders delivered in the USA and the rest of the world are sold by ARK Dynamics Global, a Wyoming corporation; orders delivered in the EU by ARKINEMATICS LIMITED, a Cyprus company. The PDK is patented technology.
